Ethan's Hip Hop Christmas Recital

Here is Ethan in his first recital. He was so excited.  He wanted to get right back on stage when it was over.

We Wrote a Letter!

With Colin and Lauren in Whitehorse and Jenn in Nassau we thought it would be fun to write letters to them.  So the kids drew some pictures.  We went to the mail.  The kids wanted to see who would get their letters first.

Gone.  Now...who will win?

The letters were posted on August 23rd.  That night Hurricane Irene went through Nassau.  Which meant that their mail slowed down more than normal.  But the kids were still thinking that it would arrive there first.

The kids had a ball playing in the mud after a crazy rain storm.

Treehouse

Rob started building a treehouse for the kids a few weeks ago.  It took him a year to plan everything.  When we started talking about a treehouse I couldn't have imaged it turning out this fantastic. With any luck the kids will be moving in this weekend.  Here is a visual of the work so far.....

First support up and level-ish.

Second support up surprisingly easy..and level.

Fretting over 1/16 inch.
